Rochester's Summer Parks Program is designed to bring together
the children and young adults in the community in a structured environment other than school. The program consists of
children, staff, and the community. Any child who has completed kindergarten thru age 12 may attend. The staff
is a combination of professionals and young adults. In addition, many community businesses donate money and provide
many services for our program.
General Info
Cost: $35 per child; 2 or more children: $30 per child (per month). The program will be limited to the first 100 children paid.

Eligibility
Children
that have completed kindergarten thru age 12.
General Location of Program
8:00am
to 12:00pm, Monday thru Friday at the Rochester City Park; staff arrives at 8:00am
Activities
Athletic games, such as kickball, wiffleball, basketball; nature hikes; swimming at the city pool;
bowling at Country Lanes; craft making; watching a movie at the theatre; other various activities.
Cancellations
In case of weather cancellations ,please listen to WROI 92.1 FM for cancellations.
Transportation
Transportation is left up to the guardians of the child; however,
a bus will make pickup stops at the following locations and times. Drop off times occur in reverse order starting
at 12:00pm. (Time subject to change by a few minutes.)
Other Information
We expect the same behavior from the children attending the Parks Program as
they would demonstrate at home or at school. Foul language, fighting, and being disrespectful will not be tolerated.
For the first offense, a warning will be given to the child. If the behavior continues, parents will be called.
After parents are called and the behavior continues, time away from the program will occur.
